Mesoclisis

With the future and the conditional, formal European Portuguese places the pronoun inside the verb: gastá-lo-ei, gastá-lo-ia. Everyday speech often avoids it, typically through the proclisis that words such as não attract: não o gastarei.

Future
eu gastá-lo-ei
tu gastá-lo-ás
ele/ela gastá-lo-á
nós gastá-lo-emos
vós gastá-lo-eis
eles/elas gastá-lo-ão
Conditional
eu gastá-lo-ia
tu gastá-lo-ias
ele/ela gastá-lo-ia
nós gastá-lo-íamos
vós gastá-lo-íeis
eles/elas gastá-lo-iam
